Default Yonaka motor mount thoughts.etc

I would like some technical info on the yonaka engine mount kits.

Currently torn between what mount kit to buy (b20 into a ek)
I have always used hasport mount kits but the price is just killing me. I have heard great things about yonaka catbacks and other stuff like axles and what not but has anyone used the yonaka motor mounts? I am building a ek hatch for my wife with b20b4 w/ LS trans and just want to get a decent mount kit for a decent price.
I know you get what you pay for but i know for a fact we do not need a 300 set of mounts because my wife drives easy and putt putts around town. I always use hasport for my h swaps but i just am not looking to put full billet race mounts in this ek.

Any input is appreciated! THANKS

NO experience. But I always recommend the Hardrace mounts. But if you're running a hybrid setup I never noticed if they have kits for those types of swap applications.

well i know hardrace is good but damn expensive..

The yonaka kit looks like a basic steel mount kit with 70a ISH inserts

also i found out my post mount on the b20b4 is ok as is and i have no need for a new 99 00 si post mount.

I do however need a set of motor mounts to drop this lil b20 swap in... car is a 96 and i am converting the obd2a b20 into obd1 via ob1 ls IM and Dist along with a obd2a to 1 jumper harness with p75.. anyways the mount kits range alot in price and 79 dollars is scary cheap and i know you get what ya pay for but they look decent for what they are i mean the engine only has what maybe 130 hp? lol

Avid mounts are way less than hasport And good quality. 2yrs+ zero issues. Get the softest ones if you do get them. https://honda-tech.com/forums/drag-racing-36/all-racers-using-avid-racing-motor-mounts-2905295/

ehhh i see them but damn they are still kinda high, i know i sound like a cheap *** but i put a ton of money in my 94 h22 hatch and it has left me kinda broke. I do have a 4 month old son and a unemployed wife so i am the only money source..

I am just gonna try the yonakas and i guess i can do a review on them once i install them.

Yes this is a stock b20 swap with no boost and no power adders and YES it damn sure needs some nice stiff mounts... i hate oem mounts with a passion. lol

Hell i just saw that yonaka sells oem style replacement clutch kits! LOL..

anyways yeah i think yonaka mounts will be my choice and we will just have to go from there and see how good/bad the fitment is and how well they hold up.

I would go all out and buy a nice kick *** set but this is a budget build we are doing...just a basic b20b4 and ls trans going in a 96 hatch.

If you dont like the movement of the OEM mounts but are tight on cash then why not get some mount inserts?. They work pretty well and are cheap. I personally dont feel the OEM mounts move that much. You dont need the OBD1 dizzy or intake mani for the OBD1 conversion just the conversion harness, ECU and tuning.

If they build mounts like they build their itr header copy, I would pass.

I just looked up these mount and they are cheap Ebay crap. I ordered a set just these and the timing belt side mount bracket did not line up at all. I returned them and got my money back. There is a reason they are so cheap, you get what you pay for.

Were you using the right driver's side engine bracket?
Most of the time, it's just a matter of changing the engine bracket and then everything lines up great.

You don't need torque mounts if running anything over the 65A street bushings. I thought you did but researched and nope.

It's preference. You can run them if you want.
