Yet another question to add to my ever growing list.
Ok, car: 93 Civic Hatchback
Problem: When driving around the wheel shakes back and forth I guess you can say shimmies... I dunno
Possible Solutions: I have GSR Brakes along with the knuckles and whatnot, if I install these will that fix the problem? or is it just simply an alignment problem that can be fixed in getting an alignment?
Thanks for the help
Scott

At what speed does this happen? How about a description of the condition of your tires. Have you checked the lugs?

Normally you will know when your cv's are on the way out by hearing a clicking noise around corners. But that isn't always the case.
I would bet on the boots...by the way you can swap them out yourself.

I think RangerDan's right about the CV's, at least as far as the grease "clue"
goes. Warped rotors do it too, but only when braking, harshly. An alignment/
balance would be my last option: when the problem's more of a "nuisance"
than an actual "problem", so to speak.

I agree with the CV joints, check them out. If your boot is ripped there is going to be a ton of grease around it.

definetly the CV joints. just because there is no oil aleaking doesnt mean its no the problem. put ur car on a lift jacks whatever and spin the tires, youll notice that the axles are most definetly worped
