yet another car with wierd idle ... help plz
is like this
every time I star the car . let said early in the morning like the car has been siting all night with the engine cool ... then by the time I star the car the engine goes straigh to 2000 rpm and stays on there for like a good time ( 2, 3 minutes or 5) then after it heat up it will go back to normal idling like 1000 rpm .. now I dont know what the **** is the problem ..
beside my vtec is not kicking in for some reason .. the other day i pull the head off to check my pistons ... then when I put it back i forgot to connect the the sensor that is right on the botton of the distribuitor there were 2 conectors one look like a little niple and the other is a normal conector after I searched ...vtec was not kicking in I found out that it wont work without the ect sensor working ....so I plug these 2 sensor and now I have this wierd idling problem for some reason ....

reset your ecu(unplug negative battery and plug back)
since u removed those plugs imo, it might help

your car is supposed to idle like that. it idles faster when its cold so it warms up faster. as for the vtec, make sure everything is wired up and your not throwing any codes.
