ok im having an issue with my 94 hatch stalling out. it tends to stall when i first start it the second i let go of the key it shuts of with no indication of why. i got the car to start drove it till i got home with no problem. pulled the cold air off and the tb was dirty wiped it out hoping it solved it. happened again today both time at nigh tdont know if that matters my very first guess was the ignition switch but pased it of once i saw the tb but i was curious if this coud be the issue. no cels runnin a d16y8 now for almost 3 years no incident thought it was the main relay but i swaped it for one that was known to be good still had the same issue also when i start it after it stalls i can rev it b4 i let off the key if i hold the idle high 3k+ it will hold but once i let off it will stall immediately any help would be appreciated

I had an issue like this a year ago, but it was stalling when I gassed it pretty hard. Ended up being a timing issue.

In the FAQs sticky, you'll find a diagram describing how to test the ignition switch. If it's bad, you can replace just the electrical part of the switch. There may also be a Honda TSB/recall for the switch on your car.
