hello guys, hows thing,

i am writing from ireland in search of help.

i have many posts on different sites, but nothing yet,

i recently blew the shell bearings in my em1 vti and monday i replaced the engine, but now it wont start...

i have spark
i have fuel
it started for ten mins ran like dung with the throttle open at abot 500 rpm.

but now it wont even fire. the ecu is perfect and so is the main relay. compression appears good.

timing is perfect.

i seriously cant figure it out.

any ideas where to go now?

Have you check the distributor?

check grounds especially the one on the thermostat housing people tend to tighten it up or forget all about it.

yes i tightened the earth on the thermostat, will sand the connection tomorrow.

car is terning over like a champ.

i tested the spark by putting a screw driver in the lead and holding it a 1/4 of an inch away from exhaust mani bolt, spark was there but seemed a little orange. but i can safely say its got plenty of power got a nice rattle of it.
