has anybody actually swaped a k20 in a 99-00 chassis . Im guessing its a bit more diffictult to wire up

Don't worry. Like I said , I am sure there will be more user friendly guides based on this.

For example, look at the ecu connector chart

and then look at ecu connector pinout. That is what those numbers mean.

I am sure me and others will try to break it down for those of you that are not very wiring friendly...

Basically, I wil tell u what plugs you need and how you need to wire them.

wasnt this wirning into the EX covered in the SCC where they did the swap into that ek??? i recall going through like 4 pages of wiring info...

yes that was for a 96-98 EK....99-00 is slightly different b/c obd 2.5...plus the wiring on hondata's site is for a race car - which is slightly different/less complex thant that of a street (legal) car

All PNP:
aLLmTRaLLdAY is running the OBD1 version
Ekizzle is running the OBD2 version
SuperTwinz (me) is running the OBD 2.5 version

So far we had made 2 of each and all of them work. I've been driving my car for over 3 months w/o any problems.

I doubt a P28 has the computing power required to run VTC and a few of the other things that the K has.

The No1 cylinder sensor pulses at TDC on the No1 cylinder.
The TDC sensor pulses at TDC for each cylinder.
The crank angle sensor pulses at various crank positions during the cycle.
Unfortunately it's a different number of pulses for the K-series engines compared to OBD 1/2 engines.

Using a computer that isn't set up for the correct number of pulses doesn't work.
