check the laws in TX. I use to run yellow bulbs but it attracts way too much attention, especially from cops. Lexus runs yellow bulbs yes, but only as fogs.

any color other that white in the high beam is illegal, that is why lexus and bmw and all them still have regular halogen bulbs for highs.

They are illegal. Had them on my red EK for a month, it looked like a McDonald's car (yellow/red) and they attracted too much attention so I gave them to my brother who has a black EK. He didn't drive for more than 10min before getting pulled over. The ticket he go was for having headlights that do not emit white light.

i was trying to get that look, with HID with yellow bulbs showing. so that teg would get pulled over because of having yellow lights? i know they are the fog lights. but still they're yellow

edit: not my car hopefully owner doesnt mind

No, because they are fog lamps. Driving around with yellow high-beams on is a different story. In fact, you shouldn't be driving around with any high-beams on while in the presence of other traffic.

That really defeats the purpose of high-beams then. Why not just install a set of city lights if you're going for that sort of look?

That actually looks pretty good!

Most likely it's illegal though. Check your laws, it does vary from state to state.

running fogs with regular low beams is legal in all states.

Thus lexus for example wouldn't produce a car in the states that has running time fogs.
