yellow bulbs
i got some projectors that use a h3 for the low beam and h1 for the high beam. i just want to know if putting yellow bulbs in the high beams are illegal or not. im in texas. can anybody help me out?

i assume that its ok, because i see some tegs with yellow bulbs in their high beams and some lexus with yellow bulbs.. just want to make sure. i dont want to get pulled over or anything for something little like light bulbs

check the laws in TX. I use to run yellow bulbs but it attracts way too much attention, especially from cops. Lexus runs yellow bulbs yes, but only as fogs.

They are illegal. Had them on my red EK for a month, it looked like a McDonald's car (yellow/red) and they attracted too much attention so I gave them to my brother who has a black EK. He didn't drive for more than 10min before getting pulled over. The ticket he go was for having headlights that do not emit white light.

i was trying to get that look, with HID with yellow bulbs showing. so that teg would get pulled over because of having yellow lights? i know they are the fog lights. but still they're yellow
edit: not my car hopefully owner doesnt mind

No, because they are fog lamps. Driving around with yellow high-beams on is a different story. In fact, you shouldn't be driving around with any high-beams on while in the presence of other traffic.

well they are aimed low they arnt high like high beams are supposed to be. its lower then the beam pattern on my HIDs i drove around when them on last night. no problems
