Year Model / Suspension confusion

Year Model / Suspension confusion
So I have been researching this situation for hours and I am still pretty confused. I purchased my civic used and I cannot determine the year model/trim package definitively. Here's why -
The first 6 of the VIN (2HGEJ6) and the manufacturers label indicate it is a 2000 model manufactured in 99'.
It has no cruise control, no power windows/locks. It is an automatic/ 1.6L. All of this points to a 2000 Civic DX. The suspension is what throws me off.
Everything I have found says that through the end of the 6th Gen all models came loaded with double wishbone suspension. This car definitely has Macpherson struts on the front end. Honda didn't stick the Macpherson struts behind the wheels until 2001 model year (7th gen), right?
Any help with this one is most appreciated!

Re: Year Model / Suspension confusion
Ok, you made me question my memory to the point that I put eyes on it again and I could not have been more wrong. It is double wishbone suspension.
I see too many vehicles too often I guess :/ thanks for helping me realize I'm a moron!
