Default Yeah yeah, I shoulda used the search function...but

It didn't give me many reassuring results and I'd like to get this issue sorted.

Perhaps we could get a running list of Honda INTER-COMPATIBLE parts happening.

This way, if a certain part is needed, we could simply reference this teeny database and see what other Honda's we could scrounge parts from. That way, there is a higher probability that you could find your part for cheaper.

In my case, I want to swap out my dodgy suspension setup from my EG civic (previous owner f'd it up - looks like a spring cut to me and the car feels like a bouncy castle) and put in something better. I have been trying to find out if a 94'-95' model Teg shocks and springs will bolt straight into my Civic.

So firstly, will these parts bolt in?
Will it require modifying control arms etc?
What will it do to ride height compared to factory specs?

My plans are to use the Teg stuff cos it's firmer and then upgrade the rear sway bar (I'm lucky mines an Si) and put in a castor kit as well as upgrade the front sway bar link bushings. I want a more comfortable ride whilst having good handling characteristics.

Thanks people

all teg and eg stuff are the same chassis wise except for the type r. id go with a nice spring strut combo like koni yellows or KYB AGX on H&R sprigs for just normal street and occasion drag.. if ur tracking then find a nice set of coilovers

they'll bolt up fine. No mods to suspension needed.

Just one more time (I'm really trying to not be annoying).....

I have been hearing that there is a difference between the EG (1993' Si) Civic hatches and sedans.

So, does the hatch have different struts to the sedan version?

Cheers

Nope, they're all the same for the 92-95s.
