y8 or Z6 in EG???????????
How much harder is it to swap a Y8 into an EG hatch than a Z6??
I know that the Y8 is obd2 and probably has extra wiring/plugs, should I just use a p28 with the Y8 or would it be better to use the y8 ecu?
I am asking cause i can get a whole d16y8 swap for 5 bills... sounds like a good deal although I havent seen the engine yet.

it is easier to do the z6 in your eg, BUT it isnt tha bad to do the y8. you either need to repin the dizzy, or use a z6, and thats really abiyt it, i think there are a few differences with the evap emmissions stuff, but i think thats about it. CORRECT ME if i am wrong please.

how much can you get the z6 for??
sounds easier to do the z6...... identical engines except for the internal combustion, which gives the y8 a slight edge, and i mean slight
edit: i would get the y8 if you plan to keep this car/engine setup for a while. less mileage should equal longer lifespan
what are your plans?? boost? N/A??

Re: y8 or Z6 in EG??????????? (Jswpstdoff)
I cant finda z6 swap right now, but they usually go for 350-500
already got the turbo kit together but I cant decide whether to get the Y8 in my CRX + turbo or get an EG and do the same...
What really turns me away from the CRX is the cable trannies, because they SI trannies are hard to find in good condition and I heard they are not as reliable as the newer ones. I can sometimes find people selling EX(92-95) for like 150 a peice..
