y8 vtec solinoid will not fit on my z6 head?? searched failed!
hey guys, SOHC_MSHUE and I are doing a head swap tonight from my y8 head to a z6 head, when i bought the z6 head, it didn't come with a vtec solinoid, so i posted about using my y8, I was told by several, that they are interchanable, so i go to bolt it up to the new head and it will not bolt up, the holes are sooo close to matching up but they will not, is that because the bracket will not bolt up ? my guess is that the actual solinoid will work but the bracket from the y8 will not bolt up to the z6 head..??? thanks guys..
