Y8 throttle body problem

Y8 throttle body problem
I have a 5spd Y8 intake manifold going on my Y7 head but am having trouble finding a throttle body that will work. these are the 2 I currently have.
The 1 on the left came off a Z6 mani (I think not 100%) The right is off the old Y7 with the spring turned around to pull the correct direction.
All the ports match up on both and the have the same MAP and TPS sensors, but the one on the left is a little crusty and doesnt like to open.
More info on my setup: I'm using the Y7 harness with the 3 pin IACV, and a 5spd P28 ECU. The Intake Mani has the 2pin IACV on the back side.
I'm also unsure about how to run the coolant and vacuum lines.
Any input will help, thanks.

Re: Y8 throttle body problem
Dont worry about the coolant lines to the TB, you dont need to use them. You cannot run a P28 with a 3 pin IACV because the P28 reads for a 2 wire. Best bet to use the P28 would be to convert the harness to a 2 wire IACV and use the 2 pin IACV.
I have a similar set up; im running a 5sp Y8 intake manifold on my Y7 as well, but im using the Y7 TB with the 3 wire IACV and the stock Dx ECU. Works fine with no CEL.
So you have 2 choices. Convert to 2 wire, and use IACV on manifold with P28 or Leave it 3 wire, use the TB on the right, and plug up the OEM ECU.

Re: Y8 throttle body problem
Took some pics for you. Hope it helps.
Y7 TB, Y8 throttle cable bracket, Y7 throttle cable
Y7 IACV. Y8 IACV is only there to plug the hole.

Re: Y8 throttle body problem
Yeah sould have mentioned I'm finishing up a auto to 5spd swap so i have the auto ECU in now thats why im thinking to put the P28 in cuz it's a 5spd. I have the jumperharness so would i still need to switch to a 2pin IACV?

And other thing unsure of these to vacuum lines and couldn't see from your pics I know 1 is PCV but dont know the other one.
I know the small one on the left is FPR

Re: Y8 throttle body problem
Why dont you just get a 5 speed Dx ECU? You know you will need to have a Y7 basemap in order for that P28 to work. It wont be plug and play.
The top one is for PCV like you said, but the bottom one goes to a small 2 way valve that is mounted on the fuel rail, then the other end goes to the charcoal canister on top of the subframe. But if you go OBD1, you wont need to use it so you can just plug it. Also, dont forget the nipple behind the manifold. Either plug it up or connect your cruise control to it. I had it open for about a year and I had a shitty idle.

P2E=Dx
P2T=Si
Make sure you get the ECU correct to your car year. 96-98 is OBD2A, 99-00 is OBD2B.
