exactly what the title says. just need to know if they work.

i dont know about a y7 but i have put a d16z6 oil pan on a d16y8 before and it fit fine

NO ****. maybe cause one is aluminum and one is steel. one is about 100 bucks and the other is about 300.

I KNOW THEY ARE DIFFERENT. i just want to know if the y8 pan will fit on a y7. thats all i want to know. i dont car about the z6, the a6, or the b7, i want to know DOES ANYONE HAVE A Y8 OIL PAN ON THEIR Y7??

yea the oil pan off a y8 will fit the y7 for me i had to switch them because the y7 i got was a auto and the oil pans are different from man to auto so i swapped them. So yes it will fit just bolt it up EASY!!!!

um, no. my old y7 was from an auto. i put a manual tranny on it and didnt change the oil pan.

The VTEC oil pans might be deeper and/or the oil pickup might hang lower, thus necessitating a deeper oil pan. Keep VTEC pans on VTEC motors and vice-versa.

yes, it works. BUT only if you use y8 oil pan. So rule is: y7, y7 gasket. y8, y8 gasket. hope everything turns out well for you! 8)

I had a Y8 oilpan on my Y7. it fit with the Y7 gasket. It is deeper/taller so it interferred with my downpipe. You should be OK if you are NA.

oh trust me, i know what they look like, i know they use a TOTALLY i different gasket (the y8 seals SOOOO much better). i just wante to be sure they would bolt up no problem. thats good. im satisfied now. ok then, i can sell my tapped y8 pan to the guy with the Y7 block, lol
