But yes, the Y8 is better than the Z6</TD></TR></TABLE>
i thought the Y8 head was better for lowend and the Z6 head was better for high end.

What about Skunk2?
Why would Edelbrock be better?

Skunk2 has fitment issues and makes less power N/A than the Edelbrock.

Its worth it...if I hadnt gotten a 99-00 y8 intake mani for my 97 hatch (there are extra "air injection" holes that were causing a crazy vaccum leak) I would have had it done in an afternoon. Better top end as well!

Spade where did you hear this from? I was going to buy the Skunk2 manifold today, but I'll wait and see.

I'm picking up my Edelbrock IM this weekend, the dyno is soon to follow....wait for the hard proof!
Skunk2 only got decent power by increasing fuel pressure.
Edelbrock should be a bolt on 5 hp to the wheels.

define trouble.......... my friend is **fingers-crossed* hopefully giving me one for cheap, so in that case, I wouldn't mind the trouble of slapping it on my y7. The difference between the y7 IM and y8 is night and day.
now z6 IM and y8 IM..... from my "butt dyno," not really noticable, but you know in your head, on time slips, and dyno sheets that the y8 IM would be better.
