i have done the swap but i have not run the car yet. if you do swap it over, u'll either need to get a y8 fuel rail or modify your z6 by drilling a hole on one side, and using like a small sheet of sheetmetal, drill a hole through it, and use it as a washer to hold the fuel rail down (or you can drill 2 more holes in the fuel rail and bolt it onto the sheetmetal). and you might want to use the z6 TB, it makes it easier to use your existing coolant/vacuum lines on the TB. and you'll need to modify some other vacuum lines.

y8 mani is good for mid to high power. z6 mani is good for for low to mid power. imho its not worth the time, money, and headaches.

I wouldn't trade the thicker powerband of the Z6 manifold for the slight top end benefits of the Y8 unless someone payed me to do so . I say don't do it.
