Default y8 headers on a y7

i replaced my stock y7 headers with the cat less y8 headers, since there is only one o2 sensor on the headers themselfs, does it really matter where i place the second o2 sensor or does it need to be a certain length down the piping.?

Are you running with no cat at all? generally, if you change that header, you would add an ex model cat after the header, which would receive the o2.

x2

if you were running a cat, you would
need an O2 before and after the cat

not to thread jack, but, with running a test pipe w/o2 sensor, will it give you a CEL??? I ask b/c i think i have something messed up in my cat, cuz it rattles a little and i cant seem to fix it, so i was just going to run a test pipe, but my dad said it would give me a CEL.

running a test pipe shouldnt throw a code from my experience, as long as your running the 2nd o2 sensor

You probably will throw a code.... Easy fix. look on ebay for an 02 fix kit, or test pipe kit. You will find a piece that spaces the 02 so that it will take an accurate reading. The code wont effect performance, just wont let you pass emissions.
