Default Y8 head, Y7 block. quick question. (tried searching)

What does it take to slap a y8 vtec head onto a y7 block? The reason I ask is I drive a 98 EX with the D16Y8 and I am in the process of doing a vitara build for it and ran across a y7 block for super cheap! however, I want to keep vtec and I am not touching the motor thats in the car, so I plan on buying a y8 head for it. I would think because the car already has the y8, this should be a pretty easy task, or maybe I am wrong? Does it bolt right up? Or is there something I might be missing???

just remove the oil plug and add a knock sensor, that's it.

Yeah, I think it is, sorry Bense .

I'm pretty sure it is b/c I remember not being able to figure out if you had to remove one when doing a Y8/Y7 mini-me like you have to do with the Z6/B7 mini-me. I forgot the answer, but I'm pretty sure there's not.
