y8 in a dx auto?ASAP
i just did a y8 swap into a 96 dx(y7) auto car. i am using a 5speed motor the y7 t/b and a 96 p2p for a auto. i am using the y7 harness with added wires. there are no codes. but it idles up to 2k and back down likie it has a vacumme leak. but after the trusty carb cleaner check there seems to be none. the reason for the use of the y7 t/b is that the auto ecu uses a 3 wire IACV. is there a diffrence between the y7 and y8 IACV besides he fact that one is on the T/B and the other is on the manifold. HELP ASAP

Re: y8 in a dx auto?ASAP (Civichatch2k)
The dx uses a 3 wire for the iacv. The ex uses a 2 wire. If your using the ex ecu, then you'll need just the two wires and tape off the orange wire. Also the iacv pin on the dx is located on a14 and the ex is located on a12. You will need to repin these to get the correct idle. You throwin any cels???
