Y8 crank in my Z6

Default Y8 crank in my Z6

will i run into any problems putting a machined Y8 crank into a z6 block?

JW why the y8 crank over the z6? dont say for torque cause 3 ft lbs isnt anything. The z6 crank, IMO is a better crank then the Y8.

the crank isn't what makes the extra power in a y8, it's the difference in the cylinder head and pistons. the cranks share the same rod/stroke ratio and rod length.

now i would agree that the z6 crank is definitely better. this is because there are 2 oiling ports per rod vs 1 port on the y-series cranks. this is why the y-series engines tend to spin rod bearings.
