Default Y8 CAM

can i use a stage one y8 cam in a z6 head in place of the z6 cam

ok thanx i have a mini me and i have a a z6 head on a zc bottom and i was jus makin sure it wouldnt screw nothin also its a stock cam regorund to a stage one wit oem specs that shouldnt be a problem rite

How is it a stage 1 with OEM specs? If it's a stage 1 then it's not OEM spec...?

Doesn't matter, i looked this up in the helms not too long ago - the Y8 cam has a slightly longer lift duration (either longer or higher, forgot) - either way, it's a slightly more aggressive cam.

oh ok well its a stage one my bad and do i need to change anything or is it a direct swap

Should be just drop in, bro...

Might wanna change the seals and the valve cover gasket while your down there though.
