y8 but no vtec
I have a 96 hatch. I put a 2000 sohc vtec in. pinned knock, vtec oil pressure, vtec silonoid, and did iacv repin. I used the 96 cx harness. I also put the inturnals of the sohc non vtec distributor in the sohc vtec distibutor housing so I wouldn't have to cut the distibutor plugs and put another plug on them. Everything else works great but throw cel 22. I also have converted back to obd1. Anything would be helpful. thanks And if anyone asks yes all wiring is pinned correctly. 100% sure with obd2 pins and the black ground for the vtec pressure switch has been grounded.

Re: (Vero)
Jumper 12 volts to the solenoid and see if it activates. I did this while on the dyno once, I unplugged the VTEC solenoid and ran a aligator clip from the positive battery and touched the end to the vtec solenoid at the rpm I wanted to activate it. You can do the same just to check the solenoid function.
