Default please Help ! y7 to z6 head swap . tried to search

sorry i could not find a write up for Y7 to Z6 mini me...I drive a 96 CX HB d16y7 btw
Firstly, i'm going to pick up a z6 head in a few days. I am just making sure that i can complete this swap without any issues. Some ppl have been telling me to go w/ the y8 head b/c of obd2 etc.. and less trouble ..blah blah ???

Are these all the parts i will need to complete this swap w/o any issues..
-Z6 cylinder head w/ fuel rail , injectors, vtec soilenoid... its just missing valve springs/retainers
-Z6 IM
-going to buy y8 spark plugs
-Y8 head gasket
-Z6 distributor
-Z6 timing belt
-P28 ECU
-my NGK spark plug wires will work according to their application via official site

Is there anything i am MISSING?? all these parts are required?? I need to confirm the seller ASAP
thanks

Heres the deal... The Y7 TB uses a 3 plug wire for its IAC, where as the IAC on the Z6 is like the EX(y8) and has 2 plug connector ( and it wont match up) .., so you need to either

1.) Use the complete Y7 TB on the Z6 manifold, so you may still will be using the Y7 harness

2.) Get an EX wiring harness. id recomend going the extra mile, and getting the Y8 wiring harness as well as the ECU so the IAC will match up, and VTEC will already be in the harness. If your going to do it, do it right the first time

its going into a d16y7 block. Yeah i want to do it up right the first time, I dont want any issues down the road. So i need all the info i can get and the correct parts. SO the only difference for the Z6 mini me swap is the intake manifold?? The other steps are the same.. according to those y7 to y8 MINI me swap WRITE UPS? what about the distributor..i just need a OBD2 to OBD1 harness, right?

its only been 14 years later but here i am going to do this by myself this will be my winter build and im compiling a list of instructions, tools and parts. This thread has been the most organized and straight forward. Do you have anything to add since doing it?
