y7 to y8 manifold swap
I am just wondering if I can use the same throttle cable for the y8 manifold with the side mounted tb as opposed to the top mounted tb on my y7. Will it work? I hope so, I am halfway through, and don't know where I will get a cable now,lol. Thanks

no problem, if you have any other questions with this swap just let me know, i fucked up twice doing this swap before i got it right.....you need the y8 throttle rotor, auto y8 im is easiest, then you need to plug the holes above the ports on the face of the intake manifold, but thats only for 99-00 intake mani's the 96-98 dont have them, and there is no need for the intake manifold brace.....and the wiring harness needs to be cut a little to expose the wires to let them reach, caz now the various plugs have been extended, and just put black electricians tape around the newly exposed wires
