I have a y7 converted to obd1 in a 94 eg hatch running on a p75. my cars a cx with a stock 1 wire o2 so im throwing a cel for o2 obviously. the car has been like this since last august and has never had any issues but all of a sudden last week i was driving, brought it up to 4500 in first, shifted, but the rpms only dropped to 2700 in between shifts. at the next light the car idled at 2k, so i held down the brake and let the clutch up a little bringing the rpms down to 1k, when i disengaged the clutch again and let it idle it sat at 900 where it should be. also, im obviously running rich because im running a 1.8 ecu on a 1.6, so when i let off the gas it gargles and spits a little. sometimes i let off of the gas and it continutes to gargle until i press the gas again. when im holding the car above 5k, let off the gas, then feather it, the car "pops", like a loud misfire..just once..then sits there. Im not about to change this setup or touch the motor, because i dont know of any other y7's running mid 15's with just bolt ons, but this misfire/idle issue/popping when getting on the gas is getting annoying.

for the popping...im thinking i misadjusted the tps and its causing it to pop when im barely touching the gas at higher rpms. for the misfire in low rpms...tune up maybe? im hoping this solves the problem. idle...im gonna take off the iac and give it a nice cleaning. im thinking of these issues as seperate...if anyone can link them and give me a solution...please do. no im not reqiring my o2, its a single cam i could give a shitless about the o2 sensor right now, it ran fine miswired for 11 months.
