cx = mid to low 18's
dx = mid 16's
my bad.. i thought u meant EG.
for the ek, i believe they both use the same d16y7 (106hp with 103 tq) and tranny. the gearing might be slightly differnent. my guess is mid 16 to high 16's for both of them.

why would the dx be 2 seconds quicker since they run the same exact motor and tranny? if they were both hatches i'd think the cx would be quicker since it's a lil lighter.

yeah, why does the dx run 2 sec faster, theres no way that is possible! I have a 99 si and im running mid 15's bone stock.

right, they would be the same CX maybe have a slight edge both have y8s. But back to the question, I dunno -

yeah, id say that is more like it but more to the mid 17's, my friend has a 98 dx hatch and bone stock he ran 17.3 in the 1/4. I ran 15.6. sohc and dohc is a big difference. sohc tops out quicker but dohc gets it in the long straights

For the last time no they aernt. The CX has a 70 hp motor whereas the DX has a 109 hp D16y7. Not tha same motor or tranny.

They do have the same motors, and if they don't what makes the DX faster ?
