Wussup...
I know the question is not related to EG/EG2 but please bare with me. Do anybody know anything about 2004 NISSAN MAXIMA 3.5L V6? Are they any good? I always been into rice rocket. Therefore I need some professional opinion on this car. The MSRP: $28,000. And my girlfriend wants to buy the car, but she wants to know more histroy about NISSAN. Anyone who know about NISSAN please feel free and tell me (Transmission,Engine/Suspension, etc.)? Thanks

My professional advice, don't buy it. Get a TL 6spd, it's only about $4k more and will be worth 4 times more when trade in time comes..

EDIT: Oh BTW this is Honda-Tech so I doubt many people will be very enthused about this post.. I suggest a lock before serious flaming occurs..

Seriously? After the www, what was the first word you typed into the URL? I'm sorry, but come on. "Professional advice" about Nissan's on a Honda page. Here's my advice, buy a Honda, then ask your petty questions.

Jesus, I can't believe all you people who got your panties in a bunch when he mentioned another make of car. Chill out...

PhatMike - Nissan's are a very good make of vehicle that will last as long as a Honda or Toyota when taken care of. I don't have much experience with the newer Maxima's, but I have some friends with the previous generation. They are very good cars: worth the money, reliable and great performance. For more Nissan related info, check out http://www.freshalloy.com. They have a forum specific for the 2004-Up Maxima.

Yeah just put a supercharger on it and thats a pretty fast ride..beside the weight your makin good power. I havent heard much about the tranny going out or how much the internals hold but so far i think its 350-400hp the stock internals hold.

Nah, she don't need no supercharger. She just use the car to go to work at Kaiser Permanente and she also just need to commute back in front from school. So yeah, she ain't no racer or anything. Thanks for all your opinion anyways. I mean for me. I'll always pick TL/TSX over that. Especially a RSX TYPE S model just for the K-20 but yeah.
