b16 hands down I think it is the better motor has out.
1.) it's head flows better then the b18b
2.) better hp to liter ratio (100hp to 1L)
3.) with boost, rods and pistons it can make prolly almost 400 hp in that range your gonna have to start porting the heads on the b18's

YES got one in my 93 civic dx awesome power in such a small block!!!!

my b16 feels just like my d16...maybe it's just me. yeah at the higher rpms, you can really feel and hear it.

Get some air flowin through that baby.....cold air intake, headers, exhaust, and you will definitely feel and hear that beast at full throttle w/ v-tec on
