wtf........valve cover still leaking
whats up i just replaced the vc gasket on my jdm b20 first i just went to autozone and got a felpro gasket it didnt even fit, so i went straught to honda and got the right one, so i get it home put it on even put a little bit of that black gasket stuff around it and its still leaking ......any ideas why

Are you using the right amount of torque?
Make sure one do it sorta like lug nuts when tighting.. top left bottom right etc....
Also make sure to clean the surface on the head before installing

it might be leaking out of your cam seal, really really common problem with b series.

tighten them down front left back right back left front right the the center.......its only leaking on the front and rear

Also only put sealer on the sharp corners, not on the hole rubber gasket.
Don't over tighten the bolts. The gasket seals not the tightness of the old bolts. The bolts will snap easily.
They shouldn't leak you must have something wrong.

if you overtighten the valve cover, your gasket will just mush out and wont seal. also its possible to bend the valve cover. do you have access to a straightedge? i would check to see if its warped myself, then go from there
