i have a d16y7 but i was at a stop light and came out of first going in to second gear n it wouldnt go in then there was oil everywhere but theres no hole in my tranny or ne thing i dont even know where its leaking from i just did my oil change like a week ago but i tighten everything i was thinkin mayb it the tranny bolt feel out or suttin but now it wont get into 1 3 5 R gears but starts fine and idles just fine i put the clutch in and threw it in second gear and clutch isnt catchin but if i let off the clutch n put it in 2nd gear the cluster would fly up to 20mph if i put it in 4th the cluster would go up to 40mph hellp need pleasee

i never heard of anything like this it happened to me on sat i have no clue what to do first

is there something up with the shift linkage????well, that wouldnt explaing the crazy speedometer...
i got an s20 tranny for sale if you need one...

you either spit a axle or exploded the gears in the diff........

Since you just did a clutch, I'll go with spitting a axle for $1000 Alex.
