Default wtf noise

I have a stock height '00 EX and lately everytime I hit a big enough dip, or driveway, or anything slanted without grandmaing my way up, something under the front of the car smashes into the ground hard enough to make me shocked the airbag didn't deploy. What exactly am I smashing? I can't tell from looking under there without jacking it up.

It's probably your tow hooks hitting the pavement/concrete. Look under the front bumper. There should be one on each side. (left and right)

It's hitting a brace underneath the radiator, how are you guys that are lowered not hitting this thing? It's the lowest point under the front end.

The radiator core support? Unless your driveway is real high or the support it bent, it shouldn't make any contact.

Are you dropped on stock struts/shocks? My exhaust is the lowest thing under the car.

Could it be that struts are blown and it nose dives when you brake before going up the driveway?

Very likely, 137,000 miles on stock suspension.

So he did. That car must be bouncing like a lowrider.

lol... that's pretty extreme if I'm right about that. for the radiator support to scrape because of any reason can't be good. 137K miles? Do you mean you've never changed your struts? Seems like it's about that time anyway...

yeah my exhaust is the thing that scrapes all the time, I have 3" of clearance on it and I rarely hit it on anything.. sounds like your shocks are completely blown out if I had to guess.
