im in a debate with a friend... was the [1992-1995] coupe ever released in japan?

Its called an EJ, and we've had this discussion before, If I'm not mistaken, it was released in Japan but its American made and shipped back to Japan.

IT WAS. What happened was that Soichiro Honda's son was doing some testing in a track IN an EG coupe, but unfortunately he lost control of the car and died For that reason, Honda stopped production of Coupes period in Japan. Only a few hundred units were sold in Japan, which ironically were made right here in the USA. They are out there, but only a few of them. There was a thread on this long time ago, in which a guy from here in HT went to Japan and spotted one and posted it right here.

So in short, they were produced but the production was stopped leaving very few units on the roads of Japan
