Default wtf does an safc workin in an Si

hey i have an safc that im tryin to hook up in my em1 adn this shizah will not work i have three extra wires blue orange and pink wtf do they do i have got the manual from apexi .com does any know wtf i can do the onle ones i really truly knwo are brwon adn black which are ground and .. ground .. please help me before i fahkin kill someone

nah im not sayin they lied jsut that i have extra wires for no reason well it is in now adn my car now runs like crap ... yaay apex-i i guess i ned to tune my stock p.o.s

would an safc only help control fuel?

i figured a vafc would be more suffice for ur Si

i believe the extra wires are setup for DSM's and other cars correct me if im wrong

ya u guys are right i think they are for other types of cars adn also about the vafc u r right also but i dont want a vafc i have seen problems come from that my friends solenoid went bad or some shizah but thanx guys now all i need is a map so my car stops drivin like poo!

a vafc would work much better, and you wont have any "leftover" wires. my buddy installed an safc on his crx, and had 3 or 4 extra wires. they were for different pressure selections. some cars use all of them, but i wouldnt be worried. just make sure you do the correct settings in the etc. menu before you run the car. (sensors..6 in 6 out, 4 cyl, throttle up).

the VAFC does not mess up or break vtec solenoids dude.......you got the wrong idea... should have gotten a vtec controller, kinda wasted yrou money on a safc

anyone know whether the VAFC-2 pulls timing back when fuel is added? I am not sure but feel it will due to the ECU fuel map.... If you know how and why, please take me to school!
