Re: WTB d16z6 ecu/engine harness and
Someone else will need to chime in but i'm pretty sure the difference between the d15 and d16 harness is like a single 2 wire plug giong to the vtec solenoid. I have a z16 in my d15 car on the d15 harness and ecu just because the engine I got didn't come with either and i needed it running.
Also if you're broke, there's other ways of getting the vtec to kick in besides a new ecu. however that is the only correct way imho.

'94 EXs came stock with a Z6 (unless you happen to be in Canada and have an EX sedan) You will need Z6 ECU (P28) or a P05/P06/PR4/P75 thats been chipped and converted to vtec. Even if you use an EX/Si harness you will need to add 2 wires for vtec from the ECU to the shock tower plugs.
