Wrecked the sol, going to do a 92-95 civic conversion...
I wrecked the sol the other day as some of you already know from hondahookup.com. http://www.hondahookup.com/php...56967
So instead of just replacing it with stock del Sol parts, I'm going to do a 92-95 Civic front end conversion. I priced everything out and was wondering if this is all that I need and how hard it really is. I was thinking it cant be that hard considering that the 92-95 civic and the del Sol's use the same chassis.
Heres the list...
All OEM parts...
FRONT BUMPER COVER Black, 2-Door Models
$ 62.95
FRONT BUMPER ABSORBER
$ 28.95
FRONT REINFORCEMENT
$ 42.95
FRONT BUMPER BRACKET PASSENGER or DRIVER SIDE Reinforcement Gusset QTY. 2
$ 6.95
FRONT BUMPER RETAINER Upper Retainer
$ 16.95
HEADLIGHT/HEADLAMP PASSENGER SIDE
$ 57.95
HEADLIGHT/HEADLAMP DRIVER SIDE
$ 57.95
HOOD 2-Door Models
$ 131.95
FENDER PASSENGER SIDE 2-Door Models, Without Molding Hole
$ 57.95
FENDER DRIVER SIDE 2-Door Models, Without Molding Hole
$ 63.95
RADIATOR SUPPORT
$ 103.95
Total (excluding shipping and tax):
$ 639.40
Also, a pair of VIS amber corner lights... Add $18.00 or w/e they cost.
Is this everything needed to do the front end conversion? What else will I need?

What? You want some help? Here's some help... go buy a couple helms one for your del sol and another for your civic.
Or goto http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and start comparing the appropriate diagrams.
Or, just buy all the parts and start putting it together. You'll find out soon enough if you have all the right parts.

i think he did his research well. the main thing is the "member set" or upper radiator support. its spot welded in four places. but once thats replaced supposedly everything else fits on flush. look on google for "oem civic parts" which you probably already done. hondaautobalhblahparts is really expensive. all you want to get from there is the radiator support. but yea
same applies to an integra front conversion...

Re: (neilff)
ive also seen a Jspec ITR conversion on a del sol looks alright, but i think it looks better on the integra. Why do you want to do a 92-95 civic conversion on a del sol?

Sound like you have everything that you need...
But i think instead of using the OEM headlights, just go with the Euro Clear headlights for a 92-95 Honda Civic, cheaper than OEM and they look better..
the would look really nice with the amber corners that you have listed..
Goodluck dude
