Wrecked Civic- Any hope?
Picked this car up for a swap/parts, BUT the SOB runs and drives great. Goes down the road straight, no "jerking" to the ditch, etc..
Got it for a steal of a $$. Anyway, was hit on the back drivers side. The drivers rear wheel is "in at the top, out at the bottom" passengers side is to, not as bad. Just wondering if this could be fixed. Look at the pictures and tell me what you think. Can take more if need be.

Not a hard fix at all. It is very do-able, the pass side tire does not look like it is out to bad but you def want to get that driver side one fixed first. But from the picture it looks like the tie-rod is bent really bad, and maybe needs to be replaced.

The title is clean.., besides, I have next to nothing in it.
Honestly, if I could straighten the rear wheel up so it don't wear the tires, that'd be fine.

but it sounds like you were pretty determined to save it anyway, then why'd you ask? and giving people a hard time who tell you to junk it.

Take it too a reputable body shop that has a frame jig and offers free estimates. We can all look at the pictures and throw a w.a.g. out there but it doesn't really tell you anything. If they say the frame is straight then just replace the bent suspension pieces.
Oh, and to DeLsLo95Si: tie rods are on the front.

if it drives then its ok if u fix it up. As long as it goes straight. It might need a new trailing arm like my friends EK does.

Re: Wrecked Civic- Any hope?
Getting that real wheel back in alignment is going to be a challenge. There's a good chance that rear subframe is bent, hence why the wheel is at such an angle in the first place. It doesn't look like the suspension is bent, it's the frame that's causing everything to be out of line.

It does... drive, and good at that. I have no intentions of spend a $hitload of money on it. I can always keep the tires rotated and use it as a "beater". Prolly what I'll end up doing.
