Default Would you trade, all things considered?

I have a 96 Midori hatch for sale/trade. Someone who really wants a EK hatch has offered me this trade:

94 del Sol VTEC, red.
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">
I have a 94 del sol vtec model with the the b16, the car is lowered on tein s-tech, full Apex n1 exhaust, DC 4-1 header, intake, LS mesh with toyo proxies, it also dosen't have air bags either. I also have a B16A short block. If we were to trade he would have to have it aligned first.
</TD></TR></TABLE>

he has to tell me the miles. He said it's been hit, but not salvage title, he also says it has the normal Honda rot.

for

96 Civic CX, Midori

Stock motor
2000 front end swap
CTR lights DIY
OEM Si grille
OEM CTR mirrors
Tokico shock
Nuespeed springs
swaybars
EX cluster

mine is 120K miles, needs aligned, and body is outstanding, better than stock, since it's 99-00. Has no airbags, like the Sol. The worst part is salvage title on mine.

It should be a shoe-in because the Sol has all power options, and the B16. I prefer full options to stripped bullshit, but nothing beats the 99-00 front end, plus my car has a better body, from what I gather.

I really wouldn't care if I did keep it, even though it's a D series, somethig about it I like....

What would you do in this case?

In the end its up to you but I would keep your hatch. Sounds like the body is in great shape and you know everything about it and what problems it has. The sol has rust which is a big headache. And there will be a lot of other problems you will discover after the trade even if there small there will still be problems.

in my opinion,

his has the power options, but you will get tired of the b16 after awhile, i would keep your car, and save my money to do a type r swap. then you will have an ek body, plus the rare color, plus the power.

I think u should trade ur giving up a salvaged car for a clean title plus ur gettin a b16 as a bonus.u can always sell the b16 and go bigger and the sol is already wired for vtec so there r a lot if pluses if u do it plus sols r fun like a little go kart

I already had a B16 swapped into my EG coupe that came with a D16Z6, so yeah, the B16 would be nothing new.

I'd keep the ek, its newer and if like you said the body is in excellent shape, if the sol has rust it can be a real pain getting that fixed. Plus you can't go wrong with thee 99-00 front, its sick
