Default Would this tranny work?

thinking about buying a 94 tranny to use with my b-18a that I will be throwing into my 93 Civ. Picking it up for $300 so I hope it does. Thanks for the info.

all b series trannys are interchangeable, b tranny to b engine, d tranny to d engine

a 94-what tranny? what car did it come out of?

Year doesn't matter, as previous poster said it just has to be B-series. If it's a 94 D-series tranny it won't work. Which means if it came from any US civic. If it's a 94 integra tranny it'll work.

this is not true the old prelude b20 trannys will not work

That's true, hadn't thought of that.

So, your tranny choices are integra, 99-00 civic si, or delsol vtec. Or a JDM hydro tranny from a B16, B17, or B18 car.
