Would these springs fit?
I have a 93 coupe and some guy is trying to sell me a set of H&R Sports for a 96-00 civic. He says they will fit and will sit the same but I wanted to see what you all thought. Thanks all!

Re: Would these springs fit?
Yea, but dc's and ej1's are more interchangeable than the 96-00 civics. Im worried they wouldnt work. I want someone that has done this. Please!

The only thing thats different about 92-95 suspension and 96-00 suspention is where the rear struts mount to the lower control arms. So I would say there definity gona fit

Yea, see im paying to have these shipped and I may not be able to get a refund if they dont fit, so I am hesitant if I dont know for sure. I almost feel I should just use whats for my car as well.

Re: Would these springs fit?
Sorry to bring this back up, but I have another question. The springs may fit fine, but what about the difference in spring rates? Are the weights going to make the springs sit higher? Thanks.

Re: Would these springs fit?
They are lowering springs arent they? Just to warn you, if they arent adjustable your ride is going to be rock hard, no bounce. Also, as long as they arent custom springs, all springs (not struts) from 88-2000 are compatible with eachother. The springs themselves are totally interchangeable. Struts however, are unique to their generation. (ex. 88-91, 92-95, 96-00)
But in terms of buying online, If you aren't 100% comfortable with buying the product, i would look for something else. Someone could just be trying to pawn something off on you.

Re: Would these springs fit?
i swapped my stock springs for non-adjustable lowering springs on my 91 CRX Si.
The ride looked sick, but cracks and bumps in the road were brutal. The suspension might as well have been welded solid.
