Would like everyone to put their 2 cents in, please!
I have a 2000 Civic Si, 50k miles on it. Needs minor body work, suspension redone, and the front end of the frame is damaged. Everything else with the car is the way its suppose to be. This car was my daily driver, that was soon to end up placed on the track and in the magazines. Now, it is not drivable due to the frame damage. My feelings are really hurt, and when I learned of this, it was the saddest day of my life.
Now I have to make a move, and I have so far came up with three options. If anyone can think of any others please share.
Option 1: Remove the motor and trans, and put it in another car. Then part out the rest.
Option 2: Part out the whole car piece by piece.
Option 3: Sell car as is.
These options are placed in the order of what I would feel more comfortable doing.

you could try and buy a coupe or hatch shell and just swap everything over. sounds like you have a pretty complete car to me. i would try and find a shell and swap it all over.

x233982, frame damage can consist of a pinched frame which doesn't affect drive ability, now, honestly? unless your front tires are shoved into the back seats? id but some keystone parts on it and hit the road untill i can pay for paint and much needed suspension, dont bail on your car!!

how bad is the frame damage?
is the actual rail bent or just a tiny bit up front right behind the core support.
pics would also help alot....

I would like to see some pics, to see how much of the car is actually salvageable. You would definitely be better off pulling the motor/tranny and parting out the rest if you're mechanically inclined to do so. You wont get any money for a damaged frame car, compared to parting it out.. And if you do decide to part it out, lemme know i need some parts, put me first on the list.

Don't part out. Pull everything off and move to a new shell. Repairing the frame may cost more money than its worth, depending on how bad the frame is, but that why pics would help.

if it were my car yank the drivetrain and part the car. 2 sell something with frame damage is wrong....unless u trade it at a new car dealer the crank people all the time so i am 100% for ripping them off....

O another idea, does the car run??? If so, swap the motor out, put in a dseries that runs, then go to a car dealership, and take advantage of the cash for clunkers govt program. Get 3500 bux towards a new car, and get a free b16 w/ low miles. Best of both worlds

show pics of "frame damage" i bet the rad. support is FUBAR'D thats cheap and easy and there is a little ripple in the driver appron. and if im right i win the car.
if the damage isnt bad fix it. Low mile SI hard to find. find cheap parts get it up and running and then paint it.
