Would a d15(US) work well w/ Si tranny
I'm considering a downgrade of my sol. It would be cheaper to replace my ailing z6 w/ d15. Aside from the power concerns, would the Si trans work well with this motor, or would it be worse than the stock S transmission? Thanks in advance.

u mean a d15b7? i have a d16y8 tranny and the ratios are damn near the same, cept i have stronger forks, its a hell of a big difference on acceleration, trust me bro go with the SI one, i love it.

I'm going to a 1.5 b7 from a z6 in my eg8, but I'm also putting in new rods and new pistons and the z6 head which which bump my CR to 11.6:1 and I think the 1.5's are better revving engines over the 1.6's. I personally like the z6 tranny over the y8 tranny cause even with the steel shiftfork it still took a **** on my and the z6 is smooth as butta. Just pick up a jdm d15b cause it'll be in better shape with less miles and probably cheaper than what you can find unless your getting it for free or under 300.
