Would blowing timing belt mess up cams or intake and exhaust ports
my buddy has a d16y8 and i wanna do top head vtec swap on to my y7 but he blew the timing belt would that **** up anything and make the to head a bad idea to put in my car

You don't really "blow" a timing belt. There's a possibility that valves could have been bent in the event of a timing belt failure.

only risk is the potential of bent valve(s) but doesn't mean they are, easily replaceable but for the price of d-series VTEC heads you could just find another one.

Bent valves are relatively easy to replace. A gouged valve seat is not. You gotta take it to a machine shop for a lookover IMHO.
