Default Installed horn on ground mounting point, effect temp gauge?

i just installed a new horn on my car and i mounted it to where the ground strap attaches to the frame rail on the passneger side by the tranny and after that i went for a tour on the highway. after driving and going WOT a few times, i notices the temp gadge was up almost to the top but it was kinda going up and down like stuttering or jumping around. i stopped and kinda wiggled the wire and bent the horn bracket out a bit and then it never did it after that yesterday.

i never had an overheating problem before at all and im thinking its cause i used the ground mounting point to mount my horn and now its not getting good ground.

im moving the horn today as it was just a temp install for MVI. would that cause this?

lol something doesnt sound right.. Make a new ground for the horn and check all of your grounds to be sure that they are good.

haha the sad part was it wasnt even a ground for the horn, it was just a place to mount it to lol

i was too lazy and knew the OEM horn mounting spot was stripped out and i just chucked it there for now. ill move it when i get home lol
