Would 310cc injectors be good for 10psi?
I have some RC 310cc injectors that were given to me in a trade and I currently have them for sale.
What I would like to know is would they be large enough to suppord 10psi on a B18C5 setup? I probably won't go over 8psi because it is high compression but I don't think 310 will be enough to suppord the fuel I will need. The motor is built and can handle it with a good tune so I don't want to hear that I shouldn't be turboing a high compression motor. I know the downfalls to it and I know the potential for failure but with a good tune I've done it before and love it. You have the low end torque and high end power all at the same time. With 9psi on my moderately high compression LS V setup I got 352 HP and ran a 12.6 in the quarter on street tires (spun 4th across the finish)
This isn't my first time I just don't know if these injectors would suffice and need to know a good TUNERS view on things. My last setup I bought 880cc injectors and the guy I brought it to to get tuned said they were too big and he couldn't tune it as good as he could if they were smaller.
Thanks for all the help in advance.

a good member on here would recommend the forced induction forum ...and no i dont think 310cc injectors will be enough for any set up over 250whp really...ive seen dyno charts with dsm 450's going up to the 325whp mark with the injector going to the 80% duty cycle which anyone who knows anything about that knows an injector is considered maxxed out past 80% duty cycle... i would contact your tuner and see what he would recommend...if you plan on around 350whp i dont see why 550cc injectors wouldnt work for you

you're going to need at least 440cc on that setup, from the sounds of it
P.S. psi isn't the only thing that determines how much fuel you need, as your title leads me to believe you think it is.
what turbo is it? more importantly, what kind of power do you expect to make?

Re: Would 310cc injectors be good for 10psi?
lets say you want to get 350 hp out of this thing.
that'd require 535cc injectors @ 100% duty cycle... to be safe
so to bring it down to like 75%... that wants 700cc's
your 310s @ 60psi still only give you 365cc
of course this is just engineering... out in the real world you'll see different results.
if it was my car i'd run the 310's and see what time they are using under load. and if they are max'd out, the pressures up, and things still aren't near cute... junk 'em

Re: Would 310cc injectors be good for 10psi?
yea I know that it is more of a HP thing that determines what size injectors you need but it's a good ref point at PSI on a Type R. I actually have a shitty little t3 to4E from I hate to say it EGAY BUT I will be buying a better turbo from a friend after I get all the kinks worked out of the install. I don't plan on using this turbo long that is why I don't care about quality for now.
I will just sell the injectors and get something close to the 700cc because I like to be ready for more if I want more. I didn't think 310s would be big enough but I have them laying around so....

Don't base your goals on PSI...its an irrelevant measure.
Anyway, I have a hard time believing that 310cc's are going to meet your goals. Those injectors are good for a hair over 200whp. I would go with a set of 550cc's at least, but i would lean toward a set of 720-750ccs. That way you have room to grow in the future.

i would try to get at least 440+cc injectors. i used to run 550cc on my stock ls-t just to make sure there will be enough fuel.
