Default is it worth it??? help me out

Alright im a 16 year old kid with a part time job so money is kinda tight.... ive got a 93 civic lx d15 with some suspension work and just your average bolt ons... but i want more... my engine only has 65k on it with not problems so my questions are...

1. Should i turbo the d15? will it have significe change in power?

2. Should i do a mini-me swap and then turbo it? will it give me alot more power then just a turbo? what is the avegare price of a mini-me swap?

i dont race or any of that stuff i just want a fun daily driver and a B-series is out of the question i definatly cant afford that.. your opinions would be great thanks (i tried searching but it was disabled)

First of all, if you are tight on money, I WOULD NOT suggest turboing your car....I used to be in the same boat as you and now Im having to sell my turbo. But to answer your ?, yes there will be a significant increase in power. I would try a mini me swap or even a complete d16z6 swap. If nothign else I would get a z6 tranny, a 4.9 final drive, a ligth flywheel and a stronger clutch. Just changing the tranny will make a huge difference. If your mechanically inclined, you could look into building a D series..check out these links!

I've been there. Still am, except Im out of school and full time, but my spendable amount of cash is still low due to BILLS. If I were you, I'd swap the tranny, cuz wide gears are boring in a Honda. It'll be the best upgrade for the money you could do right now. Also, complete low mileage D16z6 or D16y8 swaps do not really cost that much, if you look in the right places. So good luck!
