Default is it worth it??

I got an ek hatchey I juss got a y7 block cuz I blew my old one so b4 I put my new block in can anyone give me sum ideas n sum parts on goin all motor cheap yet reliable parts.. I wanna have a quick all motor. I heard that pistons from a da teggy fit not 2 sure tho. Well any advise or nething will help.. Thx

If you really want a all motor d series.. I would suggest a D16z6 or a JDM D15B. Just my Advice.

Well I had did a mini me swap so I got a vtec head.. Is the y7 block no good??

I don't know much on the mini me swap, But what i do know is my buddy did a all motor Ls Vtec build, Ran a low 13 but dropped 15 grand into it. cheaper just to turbo the thing.

d series all motor might be able to keep up with an ls let alone ls/vtec

i say either turbo or b series no cheap way around it

Ok so now I guess I'm goin boost. I already got skunk 2 intake mani titanium vavles springs lifters, Which was a pretty penny. So like I sed in my first post what good cheap but yet reliable parts shuld b used??

I like 2 watch videos of theses lil weed wacker engines beat duleys, now I would like 2 see my lil weed wacker motor beat a duley. Lol

get a b series or turbo yours.... there is no such thing as fast all motor d series, unless you want to spend major coin and for that money you could build a beast of a b series. Mini me swaps suck... sorry

Has anyone heard of givin a motor a hot bath or sumting called that. It supposted 2 get your car back to 0 miles again.

Uh...no. Hot bath is to clean all of the grime off of the block. So "like new" but not new.

It doesn't work like that, at all. There's no way for a "hot bath" to rebuild all your rings, bearings, bore distortion, seals, valve guides, etc etc.

Hot Tanking (is what its actually called) is the process used to clean engine blocks and cylinder heads prior to being rebuilt so they're nice and clean for the machinist to work on. It will make the parts LOOK brand new, but it does not fix any defects.

Magnafluxing, media blasting and the likes will help further check these parts for defects.

Alright. Yes im a Noob to honda-tech. But i need some serious help. 1) How can i wire a obd2b distributor clip to a obd1 distributor? 2) Will a p28 mugen chipped ECU thats on a B16 work for my D15? I know i have to get a conversion harness for my ECU but will it work in general?
