is it worth it?
i have been offered a 92 hatch and i was wondering what some of u guys think about the deal
the hatch is 92 CX ~100,000k model with h22 swap ~50,000k, h23 tanny, 6puck, the car body is in nice shape, one spot in the front by a healight that is a little messed up
some problems:
one headlight is broke,
needs distributor
needs heater
no deck(but i have my own)
the molding around the windshield is gone... need to replace
and the molding around the doors
price asking is: $3500 possibly less

Hmmm I dunno. I would try and bargain with him and get the price a little lower considering the work he is leaving you to do. But depending on if YOU want to fix that its your descion. I would do it for a cheaper price.

Exactly...
A buddy of mine picked up an accord a little while back with an h22 swap and the only catch was that it needed a v-tec controller to actually run the car. Reason being, there was one hooked but the controller itself was stolen. Anyways, the engine ended up blowing a hole in itself a little while later. If you're going to pick up that car I'd HIGHLY recommend taking it to a a mechanic or friend you trust and have them check out the engine, wiring, etc... it'll save you time, money and patience in the future. Good luck.
