pictures would help.. but if all the car needs is a HG its worth considering.. i would check of course if there is more problems then just that..

I think you should check this car real good, that's a lot of miles for a head gasket problem only

Every one knows that these kinds of cars can run for hundreds of thousands of miles but either way that's a hell of a lot of miles on a vehicle. For a vehicle with that age and that many miles..I wouldn't pay even 1,000 for it unless you know that the body is PERFECT and you're gonna swap the motor out and generally just rebuild the car mechanically...what I mean to say is, if you plan on getting it and building like it is, buy it for like 5 to 800 bucks MAX. If you see potential and have other plans for it, go ahead...but I'm a cheap *** and wouldn't dare put that kinda cash down for a car like that.
