working pics for EG SI cluster in cx/dx?
i've seen the stickied write ups but all the threads are so old that the pics don't work no more. i've tried searching but i only find the ones in the stickied posts. does anyone have any pics of swapping out the cx and dx cluster with an si cluster in the eg? pics would help a lot considering i just got my car and don't know squat compared to you pros out there. also, i was also talking to a friend today and he says that some guy in my school did the same mod and his tach didn't work. is it true that the tach won't work or did he just not do it properly?

if you are swapping an EG cluster into an EG it should be plug and play as long is it is a USDM cluster as far as I know they are all wired you just have to plug it in.

so then the tach would work once i connect all the proper wires right? if everything was already there, a wire for the tach wouldn't be attached when i take the old cluster out. so what would i be looking for? i've been trying to find some pics before i actually attempt this to make it as efficient as possible.

You don't need pics:
1. Remove the two screws above the cluster.
2. Pry the hazard button with flathead and remove screw behind that.
3. Using a flathead, pry from driver side and work towards the center console area.
4. Remove the four screws that hold the cluster in.
5. Unclip the plugs.
6. Work in reverse to put everything back together.
The cluster is plug and play. The blue tach wire is already part of the harness.

6. Work in reverse to put everything back together.
