Ebay's or any aluminum short shifters work, but they SUCK. It will break on you in a few hard shifts. I suggest invest in a dual bend Skunk 2 metal short shifter. Will last alot longer and you only have to install it once.

I never understood how/why people were shifting so damn hard as to break a shifter. Really you don't have to slam the gear selector in order to shift fast, its just causing a lot of wear and tear for no reason.

this is true, i can shift gears pretty quick with only 2 fingers on the **** (dont suggest it tho because its not very sturdy grip)
but it would definately suck to break ur shifter in like heavy traffic.
i heard good things about skunk 2 ss as well

I couldn't agree more. Do you have that much agression built up to break a shifter? I always take my agression out between girls' legs, but that's just me. People should try shifting normally?
To be honest, the shifter in my Civic is very stiff and that bugs me. My Accord is very smooth and soft, I love the way that car shifts.

The B&M $49 one for our cars is better than any other short shifter I've ever used on any car. Period. The Skunk2 is an overpriced piece of **** compared to the B&M, but you do what you want.

preferance whatever people are rocking theyll rep hard!! but look at the materail its made from, the throw reduction, how you want the shifter to be postioned as in dual bend or single bend, and the height of the shifter, i hate hoping in a car the shifter is in the boot and you have to reach to the floor to shift, i looked for one with a stock height dual bend, nice and close no reaching and steel. i love my 10 dollar to my door ebay dual bend, great fit and cheeap

well there are several things you can do from the start to add a little more, like a j's racing or memoryfab intake to help breathe and possibly a cat back exhaust to help with flow, there are other intakes tho

I've been using an Evasivemotorsports unit that I got like a year ago on here non stop. 35 dollars shipped to my door and it's heavy as hell and feels great.
