WOOOOO-HOOOOOOOOO,my 02 hit 15s stock!
Im pleased,my stock 02 Si(well,it has coilovers,whoopy) hit a bunch of 15.9s tonight.I know some of you will talk hsit and whatnot about it being slow(it is) But im happy that i could prove that it can hit 15s,and at least now i know low 15s will be EASY to get.Proves that the car isnt stuck in the 16s stock as many think.A 15.9 is still a 15

so it is just as slow as the old SI? I dont see what all the excitement is about.

Damn,i knew someone would start in....Tonyx,like i said,,,,IM JUST GLAD IT HIT 15s...I KNOW its slow,but ****,look how many people are stuck in the mid 16s with the 02;i was just happy as hell that im not one of them....jesus......Oh,BTW i weighes it,and it came in at 2640 with half a tank of gas and no spare tire.......Not tooooooooooo bad.........But it could be better.

I completely understand where you are coming from. I am just not impressed by a 15.9
But dont get me wrong, the car has potential, and when the aftermarket catches up it should be decently fast.

just wish honda would have gave it 180hp.. I mean come on for a few thousand more you can get a extra gear and 40more hp.. but good job charged.. I see your heart is always with the si's..

It should be able to be modded the same as any other honda. The new Accords have the 2.4 K series motor. When they start hitting the salvage yards i'm sure (if it works) a 2.4 hybrid with maybe a RSX-S head could wake up the car.

Congrats on getting the time you wanted...but I am sad to say that most people on this board won't be too impressed. I think the one thing that everyone hates about the new Si is the same thing you are getting excited about...how slow they are....anyways, congratulations on your 15second time!

I ran 15.9 with my del sol si. I was happy too, but mine has only ONE cam.

95JDMeg,yea,that was me.I was out there with a few friends lastnight,one of em ran a 14.4 at 99 in his wounded(rings on#3 are going) lsvtec.Hahahahaah you see me running the FBP 99 Si?That was really fun,we ran 4-5 times.All in all im happy even though the car is slow.It wont be for to long though

Nameless,it was a few really wierd races.....Id launch on him,hed get even or SLIGHTLY inch in second and third,and in 4th id make it even again.4th gear in this thing it actually pretty nice.There were a couple runs where we were DEAD EVEN;you could put a string straight across the front of both our cars.Ive had the same results on the streets with stock 00s before too.Its a lot closer than what people may think if the person in the 02 can drive worth a damn.

14.8 is the best i've seen so far 
congrats on hitting 15's....as was said, most wont be impressed by that - but i am simply because all ive ever seen are mid 16s passes - incl the one my near stock CX slaughtered

the motors are just restricted as hell I have a friend that raced a old si hatch and they were dead even but now the 02 has a intake and kicks ***

Nice job on the new times. I wish I could have seen you run But I spent most of the night in pits working on my car then my friend blew his diff so That took up most of the night

Rolow....Thanks man,its appreaciated.The car is almost a lil to low though,but oh well,it got rid of the minivan stance.Yea i was with some of the Altered4 guys lastnight;they had a pretty good night out there,running from 14.70s to 14.40s.
